Make the Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.

On the first large bead, pray one Our Father

Pray the Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning… Amen.
Announce the First Mystery of the day
State the Mystery aloud: e.g., "The First Joyful Mystery — The Annunciation." Then pray one Our Father.
Pray ten Hail Marys, meditating on the Mystery
One Hail Mary on each of the ten small beads. Focus your heart on the scene of the Mystery.
Pray the Glory Be, then the Fatima Prayer
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who have most need of Thy mercy. Amen.
Repeat steps 6–8 for the remaining four Mysteries
Five decades in total. Each Mystery: one Our Father → ten Hail Marys → Glory Be → Fatima Prayer.
After the fifth decade, pray the Hail Holy Queen
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope… (full text)

O God, whose Only Begotten Son, by His Life, Death, and Resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life… Amen.

The Prayers of the Rosary
Every prayer of the Rosary is rooted in Scripture. Below is each prayer in full, in English and Latin. The Rosary Prayers page contains the complete bilingual text with explanations.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Pater noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto. Sicut erat in principio, et nunc et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who have most need of Thy mercy. Amen.
Domine Iesu, dimitte nobis debita nostra, salva nos ab igne inferni, perduc in caelum omnes animas, praesertim eas quae misericordiae tuae maxime indigent. Amen.
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
O clemens, O pia, O dulcis Virgo Maria.
